Privacy Policy
At Creovly, privacy is not an afterthought or a compliance disclaimer—it is the foundational engineering principle of our software. We believe your creative assets, channel drafts, and income projections belong exclusively to you.
1. 100% Client-Side Processing Architecture
Unlike traditional creator SaaS platforms, all file processing tools on Creovly (including the YouTube Thumbnail Compressor, Thumbnail Resizer, Logo Background Remover, Shorts Safe Zone Checker, and Title Checker) execute entirely inside your local web browser session using modern Web APIs (HTML5 Canvas, File API, Web Workers, and local JavaScript threads).
- Your uploaded images, graphics, and thumbnail artwork are processed entirely in-memory and are never transmitted to any Creovly server, cloud storage, or external database.
- Calculated financial models, RPM estimates, and scenario figures remain solely in temporary browser memory.
- No media files, raw video assets, or photographic uploads are ever logged, cached, or retained on servers.
2. Information We Do and Do Not Collect
No Account Required: You do not need to register an account, authenticate via Google or YouTube OAuth, or provide personal payment credentials to use Creovly tools.
Voluntary Contact Communications & Email Processing: When you use our Contact page, the form formats your inquiry into an email draft in your local email application addressed to support@creovly.com rather than automatically submitting data to a website database. Delivery is not completed until you explicitly press “Send” in your email client. When you send an email to us, your message, sender address, and any optional information (such as your channel handle) are routed through and retained by standard email infrastructure—both by your email provider and by Creovly’s email service provider (inbox servers)—strictly so our team can read and answer your communication. Creovly does not store contact submissions in browser localStorage or on web application servers, and we never sell, rent, or distribute contact details to third-party data brokers or marketing vendors.
3. Local Browser Storage Inventory
To provide a seamless creator experience without requiring cloud logins or user accounts, Creovly utilizes standard browser localStorage on your physical device. We strictly disclose all stored keys below:
Used in Publish Studio. Saves your project metadata (video title, description text, targets, and packaging settings) locally on your physical device only when you explicitly select “Save draft” (or press Ctrl+S / ⌘S). Publish Studio does not automatically save every edit as you type; saving is an intentional creator action. Binary image files are never stored in localStorage. You can reload your saved project with “Load saved draft” or delete it permanently using “Remove Saved Draft”.
Used in the Pre-Publish Checklist. Saves checked verification milestones so your workflow status is preserved across visits. You can reset this at any time using the “Reset Checklist” button.
Stores your light or dark display preference (light or dark) to prevent screen flickering between page navigations.
Stores your analytics cookie preference (granted or denied) in compliance with Google Consent Mode v2.
All stored browser data remains exclusively on your personal device and is never transmitted to Creovly servers. You can clear all items at any time through your web browser’s site settings or privacy options.
4. Web Analytics & Active Consent Handling
To monitor technical performance, diagnose broken tools, and understand aggregate creator traffic, Creovly utilizes Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-0JBY0X9MY4).
Creovly implements Google Consent Mode v2 in Advanced Consent Mode:
- Default State & Declined Consent (Cookieless Measurement): By default—and whenever you explicitly choose “Decline Analytics”—
analytics_storageis set todenied. In this state, Google Analytics does not set or read analytics cookies (such as_gaor_ga_*) on your browser. Under Google’s Advanced Consent Mode architecture, Google Analytics transmits aggregate, cookieless measurement pings (beacons) with IP masking enforced. These pings allow Google to model high-level site traffic and platform health without establishing a persistent cross-session identifier or tracking your device across visits. - Granted Consent: If you explicitly click “Accept Analytics” or enable analytics below,
analytics_storageis updated togranted. Google Analytics then writes first-party cookies (_gaand_ga_*) to maintain continuous session analytics, distinguish repeat visits, and evaluate tool retention metrics. - Consent Revocation & Cookie Purging: You may revoke or modify your consent decision at any time using the control panel below. Revoking consent immediately resets
analytics_storagetodenied, purges active_ga,_ga_*,_gid, and_gatcookies from your browser, and persists your preference locally undercreovly-consent.
All analytics measurements collect only technical telemetry (such as browser family, device category, referring URLs, and visited routes). We never collect creator identities, channel credentials, financial calculations, or uploaded media assets.
Your Current Consent Status
Status: Default (Denied until explicitly chosen)
Changing your preference to “Decline Analytics” updates Google Consent Mode v2 to denied, immediately purges any active Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) from this browser, and restricts traffic signals to cookieless pings.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by adjusting your browser cookie settings or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Advertising & Google AdSense Disclosures
